Welcome to my site. My name is Charlotte and I am a fully accredited and experienced psychotherapist and relationship therapist and coach, working with clients in my London clinics (Harley Street, and the City), and around the world through my online practice.
Over the past 15 years I have supported hundreds of individuals and couples in overcoming barriers in order to live rich and rewarding creatively fulfilled personal and professional lives.
Some of the themes I support people with on a day-to-day basis include:
Relationship challenges
Communication issues
Blocks to intimacy and attachment issues
Sexuality and relationship to sex
Toxic relationships (abusive and narcissistic dynamics, codependency - breaking free from this)
Neurodiversity in relationships
Trauma
Anxiety and stress
Depression
Low self-esteem and self worth
Eating Disorders (emotional overeating, compulsive binge eating, food addiction, bulimia and body image issues)
Self harm
Addiction
Bereavement and loss
Refinding creative energy for life and relationships
I have extensive specialist experience working with individuals and couples experiencing relationship, sexuality and intimacy issues and regularly run retreats, workshops and intensives for individuals and couples exploring the themes of intimacy, sexuality and relating. I have a particular interest in supporting couples navigate neurodiversity within relationships.
Prior to expanding my consultancy and practice full time, I was working as a Senior Therapist for a leading eating disorder outpatient service; facilitating groups on mindfulness, creativity, sexuality, relationships, and body image, alongside in depth individual work supporting people to refind freedom in their relationship with themselves. I have extensive experience of working in NHS mental health services, including working as a psychotherapist at Maudsley Hospital and an Arts Psychotherapist in two different NHS Trusts.
I am also experienced in working with trauma and have completed a year long training in Contemporary Trauma Practice which integrates body based approaches, Gestalt and contemporary Neuroscience, providing effective treatment for trauma. I am in regular supervision with an experienced trauma specialist and integrate aspects of Sensorimotor psychotherapy and Somatic Experiencing into my work. All my individual, couples and group work is trauma informed.
My specialist clinical training and experience gained in different mental health settings coupled with my personal beliefs and interests have enabled me to develop my own unique approach to working therapeutically; a holistic, spiritual and creative one which blends together psychotherapy and coaching, addressing the whole person.
I am passionate about my work and supporting people to heal, grow and thrive in their lives. I currently live in East Sussex with my partner and our 2 daughters.
